Multi Sound For Guitars
Electric guitars use coils (guitarists call them pickups or elements) to convert the vibrations of the strings into an electrical signal. Usually, a guitar has more than one element builtin, so that the musician can select with a switch which element or elements are used to generate the signal. Because of the differences in construction of the elements and the varying positions of where they are mounted, each element sounds different. The elements can be roughly divided into two categories. There are the so-called ‘single-coils’ and ‘humbuckers’. Single coil elements are elements that contain one core and coil for each string. Humbuckers can be regarded as two elements that are connected in series. Many humbuckers have four connections (actually two single-coils with two connections each).
Multi Sound - For Guitars Circuit diagram :

These two individual coils are usually interconnected with fixed wiring so that they are always used in series. The circuit proposed here offers the possibility of using a hum-bucker with four connections in no less than four different modes, each of which having its own sound. The only things that have to be changed on the guitar are the wiring and the addition of a four-position switch. The latter requires drilling holes in the guitar of course, but if there is a control cover plate (along the lines of a Fender Stratocaster, for example) then it makes sense to put the switch there. This avoids the need for drilling holes in the wood while keeping an (expensive) guitar reasonably unmarred. The schematic shows what the various things look like, electrically speaking, before and after the multisound modification.

DIY Surround Sound
The debate of whether or not to install your own surround sound system has fallen on deaf ears and you have decided to tackle this delicate task for yourself. Good for you. The thing is you arent really too certain about where to actually begin this delicate procedure. At this point, Im assuming that you have purchased either a home theater kit or surround sound system for your home and are preparing to begin the actual installation process. A good place to start is by reading the instructions and owners manual that most likely came with either the kit you purchased or each of the individual components.
Once you have the receiver hooked up you should begin placing speakers. If you went with the basic 5.1 channel surround sound system you should have 6 speakers including the subwoofer. This is a good system to begin with and (if you purchased your AV receiver wisely) will leave room for growth and expansion in the future. I will begin with instructions for the placement of the 6 speakers for a 5.1 channel system and expand those instructions to include the others later.
With a basic 5.1 channel surround sound system you will have five speakers and one subwoofer. The placement of the speaker is important when it comes to placing the ambient sounds that are found in movies in the proper location in relation to the action onscreen. Three of the five speakers belong in the front. One speaker in the center and one each on the front left and right-the two remaining speakers belong behind you to the left and right (one left rear; one right rear). While this isnt an overly complicated concept youd be amazed at the number of people who have their surround sound systems improperly set up.
With the 6.1 channel system you will move the rear left and right speakers to the side and place one speaker to the rear and in the center. If you then upgrade from a 6.1 to a 7.1 channel surround sound system you will move the speaker that is in the rear to either the left of the right and install the additional speaker on the opposite side and to the rear.
If you are going to make the investment in a home theater or surround sound system please take the time to insure that the pieces and parts are properly located and installed in order to get your moneys worth out of the process. Now its time to sit back and enjoy your new sound system.

Good Quality Sound Amplifier Circuit
This amplifier circuit has a pretty good quality. Of course the sound quality, although this one amplifier does not have a large output power but in terms of soft and loud voice that this amplifier can be unreliable.

Auto Sound Systems One Piece at a Time
Those who are in the market for auto sound systems are probably well aware of the many decisions that need to be made throughout the process. Gone are the days when you went in, pointed to a box and walked out with all the pieces, parts, and components you would ever need for a really kickin sound. The truth of the matter is that there are many pieces and parts that work together in order to create the ultimate sound system and everyone seems to have different requirements, styles, tastes, and budgets to work with.
Because of this, many manufacturers of auto sound systems have wised up to the fact that some people will buy the components they need to create the sound system of their dreams piece by piece as budgets allow. This is actually a very intelligent way for customers on a budget to buy the sound system they are hoping to some day have. As a result you will find that speakers, amplifiers, sub woofers, and the actual stereo are often sold separately and at very reasonable prices. Most of us hate living within limited budgets but understand that often in life it is a necessary evil. Living on a budget is not such a terrible thing really. If we had everything we wanted, what on earth would there be to look forward to? At least that is what I keep telling myself. I, however, seem to be the queen of budget living and bargain hunting. I love little more in life than finding a great deal on an item Ive had my eye on for quite a while and hate little more than finding it cheaper once Ive purchased it. As such, I tend to invest a great deal of time researching any major purchase before taking the plunge. A good auto sound system by this I mean good quality, minimal features is going to run (total package and installation) at least $1,000 with many costing a good deal more than that.
That doesnt mean you need to have a thousand bucks lying around the house in order to begin building your auto sound system. You can buy a decent set of speakers for around $200-$260 if you desire. You can find sets at lower prices, but this is the price for a fairly decent set of speakers that should serve you well. Keep in mind that you could very easily spend a lot more than this on speakers if you arent careful. Living on a budget means you have to make some sacrifices along the way in order to have the things you want in life. Buy the speakers and have them installed (if you can do it or your know someone who can, this will save a lot of time and money).
Once you have the first component, whichever one that may be (that choice is entirely up to you and largely dependent on your personal tastes and which need replacing worse in the vehicle you own) you can begin saving towards the next. You should also consider asking friends and family (who would like to know what to get you for the holidays) to help you reach your smaller goals along the way. Most people are glad to help with specific items if they know what those items are. The point is that this isnt an all or nothing proposition. Take small steps towards your prize and you will find that you are constantly getting one step closer.
