Bipolar Power Supply Wiring diagram Schematic

This Bipolar power supply for battery instruments . This is a simple schema diagram, this schema to generate regulated ± 5-V supplies from a pair of dry batteries, the schema of Fig. 1 is commonly used. In order to give protection from inadvertent reverse connection of a battery, a diode in series with each battery would produce an unacceptable voltage drop.

The more effective approach is to fit diodes Dl and D2 as shown in Fig. 2, in parallel with each battery. When the supply is switched off, there is the risk of a reverse bias being applied across the regulators, if there is significant inductance or capacitance in the load schema. Diodes across the regulators prevent damage. When the power supply is switched on, the two switches do not act in unison.

There is a probability that one or the other regulators will be latched hard off by the other. To prevent this, D3 and D4 are Zener diodes so that ± 5-V rails are pulled up by the batteries until the regulators establish the correct levels.

Railway Points Sequencer

Dedicated model rail enthusiasts using sophisticated train and points controllers often have the problem that as their layouts get bigger and more complex, the transformer supplying power to the points does not have enough current to switch several points at the same time. The actuators in the points are designed for ac operation so it doesn’t help by rectifying the supply and adding reservoir capacitors, the coils can overheat and burn out if they get jammed during their travel (ac operation actually helps to overcome friction in the mechanism). The schema shown here solves this problem by using a sequencer to ensure than only one points actuator can be active at any point in time. During operation the controller will switch all the points on one line at the same time as usual, but the other connection to each coil is connected to the sequencer unit. This schema will only allow current to flow through one coil at a time.

Railway Railway Points Sequencer Circuit Diagram

The sequencer schema consists of a 555 timer configured as an astable multivibrator clocking a 4017 Johnson counter where the ten outputs are used to switch ten triacs in sequence, enough for ten sets of points. P1 alters the oscillator frequency of the 555 timer and can be adjusted so that each time interval of the sequencer is long enough to allow the points to switch.

The switching time varies depending on the type of points but is typically between 1 s and 1.5 s. Any points that jam during switching give out a characteristic humming noise in time to the switching frequency so it makes them easier to find. The eleventh output of the 4017 can be connected to an LED (together with a series resistor). This will flash to give a visual indication of the sequencers operation. Power for the schema is provided by 15 V ac from the points transformer. The B80C1500 bridge rectifier (80 Vpiv, 1.5 A) and regulator IC1 produce a stabilised 12 V for the schema. Current consumption is only a few milliamps.

Indicator Consumption AC Load Wiring diagram Schematic

This is Indicator consumption AC Load Circuit Diagram. Some types of electronic equipment does not show that in fact they are consuming energy when they are plugged into an outlet. This pilot light is not required if the unit consumes less than 10 watts according to international standards. But if you turn off the equipment, will be contributing with nature and your pocket, reducing the bill. One way to detect the AC power being consumed, independent of the load is connected in series with a diode AC power supply. In this schema 6A diodes have been used which can withstand a peak current of 200A is not repeated.

The voltage between the diodes serves as the voltage supply for the LED and schema. To increase the sensitivity of the schema, we used a voltage doubler consisting of C1, D7, D8 and C2 is used to double the voltage of D1-D6. Another advantage of this scheme is that both reduce by half waves of alternating current. Must use Schottky diodes in a cascade schema, to minimize voltage losses.

The LED will light intermittently (flashing) it is connected to a schema monoastavel by increasing the amount of current flowing through the LED is on, even with small loads. The average consumption is approximately 0.5 mA at a voltage of 3 V (2.7 mA when the LED is on and when it is off 0.2 mA). C4 and R4 determines the time that the LED will blink (0.5-0.6 s, depending on the voltage supply). The light emitting diode (LED) has its off time, which is determined by the C3 and R3 is slightly less than 5 seconds.

In D1-D6 measurements indicate that the voltage drop across each diode is about 0.4 V at a current of 1 mA. Must be careful, the schema is energized and can generate shock, never work in the schema with the cable connected to the network. The best case for the schema is a small clear plastic box with the same color of the LED.

Amplifier Circuit Diagram

Description:

I have been looking for a good stereo amplifier circuit diagram for a long time. I am not a HiFi geek, I just wanted to build a simple stereo amplifier that could drive some speakers for my desktop computer.
All the schematic diagrams that I could find seemed to involve lots of hard-to-find components or you had to use it together with a pre-amplifier or some other amplifier stage. It was always something that made me hesitate. But recently I found this awesome little chip called TEA2025! You only need a few capacitors to make a decent stereo amplifier out of it. It is so simple to build that I put it together on a strip board in just a few hours. The amplifier circuit diagram shows a 2.5W * 2 stereo amplifier. You can also make a 5W mono amplifier out of it. On the input side, you should use a dual potentiometer. A dual potmeter allows you to connect both left and right channel on one potentiometer. This amplifier is great to use together with some speakers to get sound on your desktop computer. I am thinking of putting one in my kitchen and in my bathroom also. Then maybe hook them up to my home network and stream music from a server =) There are many possibilities when you can make such a cheap amplifier.

Schematic Power Amplifier with IC AN7117

*notif : this circuit is mono amplifier

Anyone who uses this amplifier circuit would be surprised. Although this circuit has a small power output just 10 watts , but also issued a sound loud enough. At least match the transistor power amplifier with 60 watts. And his sound is good with low noise. Minimum voltage is 2 volt , and maximum voltage is 12 volt .

Power Supply Variable 1 3V 12 2V 1A Circuit

Power supply circuit to generate output below were variations between 1.3V DC to 12.2V DC with 1A current. In addition, the power supply circuit is also equipped with over-current protection or shield against belebih flow. Power supply circuit is very simple, but the quality is quite good, made her basiskan regulator IC LM723 is a pretty legendary.

1.3V

Description:

R2 to set the output voltage. The maximum current is determined by R3, over-current protection circuit inside the LM723 to detect the voltage on R3, if it reaches 0.65 V, the voltage output will be off her. So the current through R3 can not exceed 0.65 / R3 although output short-circuit in his.

C3 and C4 are ceramic capacitors, as much as possible directly soldered to the PCB, this is because the LM723 is prone to oscillation that is not cool.

LM723 works with 9.5V input voltage to 40 V DC and the LM723 can generate its own current of 150mA when the output voltage is not more than 6-7V under input voltage.
